Wizard a True Star

Interesting analysis on Todd Rundgren’s Wizard, a True Star album.
Not that I’m somewhat more fond of Todd, his follow-up one. But the trio of Something/Anything, Wizard a True Star and Todd was pretty much an eye opener to a young musician in Finland long time ago.
There’s something special about an artist who just goes ahead and breaks barriers concerning musical styles and what an album should really contain. I think that’s the biggest lesson I got from those three albums. And yes, that good songs are always the backbone of any album.
