Karsh Kale – Broken English

art_karshkale_cover.jpgIt’s not that often that I get inspired by a new album or new music, but Karsh Kale’s Broken English, just released, has been playing in my car stereo for the last week. I really like the way he’s using the Indian music elements, not as fully moving force, rather in a synergy mode. For example, he’s using rap music elements in its true form, and then sneaking in polyphonic table tracks, just plain elegant.

I liked the song Free Fall, yes it’s commercial, but it’s a very sneaky way to mix in Indian female singing into an bass-heavy electro song.
