iWork’s KeyNote is My Work Horse

InformationIsPowerDid I ever mention how useful iWork’s KeyNote is for creating all kinds of artwork for music projects? I use it for podcast images, covers for online uploads, MP3 artwork, web site work, anything where I need to put together text and images.

The trick is to set the size to a custom one for the slideshow, such as 500×500 pixels. Then export this as JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.

The nice thing with the text rendering tools is that you could control the transparency and various other settings. Via the iLifeMediaBrowser you could pick up any images you have around from iPhoto or Aperture. Or then drag-and-drop in the images and you are all set.

Now, you could also use iWork’s Pages for making posters and similar things, as for printing those out, you need a large paper-sized printer or Kinkos…

Anyway, no need for Photoshop or Microsoft Word….
