KENT LOOP COLLECTION VOLUME 8 – TEC SYNTHS

This is a collection of various synthesizer AppleLoops. 30 moog modular SW plugin loops, 30 NI Absynth, 30 Vanguard and 15 OSCar loops. They are very techno pattern centric even if some of the other loops are athmosperic and melodic.

Spectral Mystics – Rebirth

An old 2005 project that I just released as a free album from Free Music Archive.

Here’s the link for accessing it.

At that time I used a lot o compositional parts re-assembled into new songs in combination with strange plug-ins such as CamelSpace. There are actually only eight tracks or so in the Ableton Live project panel so I just re-used various settings to see what happened.

Otherwise it was an exercise in writing ambient music with a twist. All I had to do to re-vitalize this project was to remaster it with VintageWarmer and Ozone 4 to make it sound a little bit more spacious.

Anyway, download it, listen, upload it, spread it around.

ENT LOOP COLLECTION VOLUME 7 – CHEEZE MACHINE

This is a collection of Cheeze Machine string AppleLoops. Cheeze Machine is a free VST/AU plugin available on Internet. Use these in case you want seventies style cheesy string sounds and arrangements. This set also has the corresponding MIDI files in case you get tired of the cheesy strings and want some other synth patch to be used.

The loops are clean so you could experiment with various compressor and other effect settings.

KENT LOOP COLLECTION VOLUME 6 – EMS SYNTHI

EMS Synthi was a portable synthesizer done in the early seventies by EMS, used by Pink Floyd, Todd Rundgren, Steve Hillage and other similar artist. This volume contains 50 synthi-like loops made with XILS Labs XILX 3 plug-in in the tradition of synthi-like sounds, sequencer patterns, odd bleeps, effects, as well as leads and bass lines.

Some of the loops use a compressor but most of them are clean so you could experiment with various compressor and other effect settings.

Kent Loop Collection Vol 5 – Varispeed Guitar

KENT LOOP COLLECTION VOLUME 5 – VARISPEED GUITAR

This volume contains 50 guitar loops made with Logic’s varispeed. Basically you speed down 50% during recording and set it back to normal levels when creating the loops. This means that the pitch and speed picks up. The sounds is resembling high-pitched 12-string guitars or similar guitar comps and lines used by XTC and similar bands.

The last loops, from 42 forward, are arpeggiato lines. Theses guitar tracks were recorded as clean with a Stratocaster, all 50 loops done in one single recording session, no additional editing was done. This means you could add effects, guitar amps or even tighten or un-tighten the loops with Logic’s flex tool, Ableton Live or similar tools.

This contains 50 loops made with NI’s Battery 4 drum plug-in. They are four bars long with various bpm values. These are very much experimental drum patterns for exploration and new ideas instead of doing yet another electro house set of drum loops.

Kent Loop Collection Vol 1 – Reaktor

This is the first of more loop collections from my hard drive. Had fun with the new Beta Reaktor 5.5 today. The loops have barely no processing unless the Reaktor patch had reverb and similar effects so you could add your own compression and your own effects on top of these plain loops.
